July is almost here, and that means a new round of free games are en route for PlayStation Plus subscribers! First, hot off the heels of their latest release, Detroit: Become Human, comes Quantic Dream’s psychological thriller Heavy Rain. A stunning, single-player, narrative-driven experience, Heavy Rain puts gamers in the shoes of four playable characters on the hunt for a serial murderer known as the Origami Killer. Choice is the name of the game here, as the ending of the game — and most moments leading up to it — are totally up to the player and the decisions they make throughout the game. Heavy Rain is not to be missed, so this is the perfect chance for PS Plus subscribers to get their hands on it.
Next up is a title called Absolver. The official PlayStation blog describes Absolver: “Go behind the mask of this customizable and fluid martial arts-focused action game. Players can build combinations of strikes, parries, and feints to make their own unique fighting style, all while exploring a dynamic world with dedicated PvP and PvE areas.”
For PlayStation 3 and PS Vita owners, July’s lineup also includes:
- Rayman 3 HD (PS3)
- Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess (PS3)
- Space Overlords (Vita)
- Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma (Vita)
As an added bonus, between now and September 25 PS Plus members will also have the opportunity to pick up a three-month subscription to the Sony’s PS Now game streaming service for a low price. Get three months of PS Now for $29.99 (normally $49.99), and experience over 600 PS4, PS3, and PS2 games all in one place, without downloads!
That’s all for PlayStation Plus’ July offerings. What titles are you looking to play for the first time or revisit? Let us know in the comments and keep your browsers locked to Geeks + Gamers for all of your PlayStation and gaming news!
